Bento.me Shut Down. Where to Show Off Your Favorite Movies, Books and Games Now

Bento.me closed in February 2026 and its links now redirect to Linktree. If you used it to show who you are, not just to list links, here are the alternatives worth a look in 2026.

Bento.me was the link-in-bio page people picked when they wanted their page to look like them. Instead of a stack of buttons, you got a grid of tiles: your Spotify, a photo, a video, a few links. Linktree bought Bento in June 2023, announced the shutdown in December 2025, and closed it on February 13, 2026.

Old bento.me links now redirect to Linktree, and Bento deleted user data after the closing date. There was no automatic export, so a lot of people lost their page and had to start over. If that was you, this post is about where to rebuild.

First, decide what your page is for

Most Bento pages did one of two jobs. Some sent people somewhere: a shop, a newsletter, a latest video. Others told people who you are: the music you are into, the shows you love, your vibe. The right replacement depends on which job yours did.

  • Sending people somewhere? A link list is fine. Linktree is where Bento pointed everyone, and Carrd lets you build a simple one-page site if you want more control over the layout.
  • Showing who you are? A list of buttons does that badly. You want a page where the things you love are the content, with covers and not just links.

Alternatives for showing your taste

A handful of newer products are built around taste instead of links. They are not the same thing, so here is what each one is actually good at.

  • Favly (favly.me): one page with your favorite movies, shows, anime, books, games, music, podcasts and more, shown as covers. You can import from Letterboxd, Goodreads, MyAnimeList, Steam, Last.fm and GameTrack, and compare taste with a friend using Taste Match. It is a web page, so anyone who taps your link sees everything without installing an app. Disclosure: this is our product.
  • Shelf: a phone app that connects to Spotify, Apple Music, Netflix, Letterboxd and Goodreads and automatically tracks what you have been listening to, watching and reading, with weekly recaps. Great if you want zero manual work. The trade-off is that it is about what you consumed recently, and its web profile mostly asks visitors to download the app.
  • Hypelist: an app for making lists of anything, from movies to restaurants to skincare, with a big community of public lists. Good if you think in lists. It does not import from Letterboxd or Goodreads.
  • Fanakin: a web page with your top five picks per category, plus lists and polls. Small and new, but close in spirit to a taste profile.

What to bring over from your old page

If you still have screenshots of your Bento page, use them as a checklist. The Spotify tile becomes your favorite albums and artists. The YouTube embed becomes the channels you actually watch. The photo of your bookshelf becomes the books themselves. On a taste page those things are the page, not tiles pointing away from it.

And keep your own copy this time. Whatever you choose, check that you can export your data. Favly has a one-click export of everything you added, in Markdown and CSV, from Settings.

Already have years of ratings on Letterboxd, Goodreads or MyAnimeList? Import them into Favly and your page is full on day one.
